Welcom to The 3rd National Environment & Sustainable Management Seminar

The SNEGD’24 National Environment and Sustainable Management Seminar, organized by the Process Engineering Department of the Faculty of Science and Technology at the University of Mostaganem, is a continuation of the SNEGD’22 and SNEGD’23 seminars, which were organized by the Maghnia University Center in 2022 and the University of Relizane in 2023.

This seminar aims to provide a forum for exchange and debate among academics, researchers, students, and industrialists on the progress and development of research in the fields of water and the environment, with the goal of establishing policies for a circular economy and sustainable development. One of the seminar’s objectives is to raise awareness of environmental issues among stakeholders and encourage action for sustainable development, in order to improve techniques for materials recovery, waste recycling, and water treatment, reduce environmental pressure, and preserve the country’s scarce water resources.

Additionally, the seminar aims to draw attention to the ongoing environmental degradation, the loss of biodiversity, and the impact on health and the environment, while highlighting the latest research on solutions to these issues to safeguard the quality of life for future generations.
